We come to the Stonehouse for supper all the time for a impromptu supper evening and the meal and service was great.
Salmon was excellent and I was happy to see that bangers and mash were back and they are always good.

I had time to kill waiting for a ferry. Literally only a 5 minutes walk from the terminal. Very welcoming and made me very nostalgic for an English country pub. Great outdoor or indoor seating. Had a beer but next visit I’ll allow more time for a meal which looked very appetizing. Definitely worth a visit if you like authenticity.

We were 4 cars late for our ferry home, and the ticket lady suggested Stonehouse Pub to kill some time. The walk along Dolphin Rd down to Canoe Cove was gorgeous. We had a really good fish ‘n’ chips, and a fantastic veggie burger. We asked what the veggie burger was; although they don’t mention it on the menu, it’s a Beyond Meat burger, so the price is actually REALLY good. And the fries were crispy and delicious. A secret spot well worth finding (sorry locals 😉)
